Auto Zubak donates a car

Wednesday, January 28th 2009 - Auto Zubak donated a Škoda Fabija to UNICEF.
The vehicle was accepted in the name of UNICEF by Mr. Slaven Bilić, UNICEF goodwill ambassador who presented Neda Mišćević, the office manager of API with the keys of the vehicle.

API is a partner in the UNICEF action "Every Child Needs a Family" and the donated vehicle will be used by the mobile support team providing services to children with multiple disabilities receiving care outside their biological families.

"Urban Motives"

16th of January - February 20th, Vladimir Nazor Public Library, Spansko jug, Zagreb - the exhibition presents excerpts of everyday life shaped in the terracotta technique. Included are motives from street life: people, houses, cultural and religious monuments of the city.
The Creative Workshop has for years strengthened the connections of people with intellectual disabilities with the local community and this is the first of a series of exhibitions planned for spring in cooperation with the Zagreb Vladimir Nazor public libraries.

Advocating the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities in Croatia

The Association for Self Advocacy, in cooperation with the Association for Promoting Inclusion, the Human Rights Center and UNDP Croatia, launched a project which advocates the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Croatia.
The project includes several activities focused on advocating for and accelerating the implementation of the Convention in Croatia. MORE
