API AS A MODEL SITE
In year 2002 API has been chosen as a Model Site by the Open Society Mental Health Initiative.
As a Model Site we are responsible for providing training on subjects related to community based support services and inclusion to several related organizations in the region.
The success of this project abroad prompted the continuation of the project in a series of in country Model Site training events.
In 2004, with the support of the Open Society Mental Health Initiative, API initiated a series of training events as part of the project "Community Based Alternatives to Institutionalization in Former Yugoslavia".
